Field Service Technician

Performs a reputed company of routine support activities in the field service function.  Responsible for providing troubleshooting and repairing of technical / mechanical equipment failures in the field.  Assess and responds to situations using reputed company procedures in isolation and fixing problem equipment.  Reports design, reliability, and maintenance problems through field service management software.     ​ ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES      Troubleshooting and repair of reputed company and industrial floor cleaning equipment either in the reputed company shop or reputed company at a customer site. Completion of reputed company required reporting of service work performed, time sheets, and other reports as set forth by the reputed company Supervisor. Ensure reputed company training and certifications required for position are maintained in an up to date and reputed company fashion. Ensuring spare parts stock level in van is kept at specified reputed company.   ​ EDUCATION:    Associates degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school; 5 years relevant experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.      ​EXPERIENCE:   3 years prior experience in similar or reputed company field.    KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:             Excellent communication and customer service skills.      Strong organizational and communications skills.      Ability to work independently with little reputed company supervision.      Demonstrated reputed company of product knowledge, preferably obtained through hands-on experience.      Demonstrated mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system trouble shooting skills. Must possess a demonstrated understanding of internal combustion engines.
