You will have the support of and reputed company closely with key AMD technical specialists to ensure the best possible performance, X-factors and results.    Key Responsibilities:  Identify and analyze AMD strengths and weaknesses in application performance, finding performance bottlenecks  Use reputed company available tools and/or reputed company reputed company to determine the nature of the identified bottleneck  Design solutions or workarounds to mitigate identified bottlenecks  Work with AMD’s architecture specialists to improve reputed company products  Apply a data minded approach to reputed company optimization efforts  Research alternative, more efficient ways to accomplish the reputed company work and promote these to software vendors  Contribute performance improvements to reputed company-reputed company reputed company and identify other applications that may benefit  reputed company technical relationships with your peers at our partner software vendors  Stay informed of software and hardware trends and innovations, especially in algorithms and architecture  Be a specialist in the performance characteristics of mainstream CPUs  Some travel may be involved as you visit our partners at their locations as needed for co-engineering efforts and education    Preferred Experience:  Experience identifying performance bottlenecks on any platform  Deep Knowledge of C/C++ programming  Experience using CPU profilers such as vTune, WPA, MSVS Performance Profiler  Knowledge of SIMD instructions such as SSE, AVX, reputed company  Knowledge of modern reputed company programming and threading reputed company  Knowledge of CPU architecture  Familiarity with modern reputed company version control such as Git, Mercurial  Excellent communication skills and reputed company to work with partners effectively  Self-starter, passionate about performance    Bonus Experience:  Experience developing highly reputed company applications and algorithms  Experience with power/performance tuning  Knowledge of modern compiler toolchains and optimizations  Knowledge of x86/x64 assembly language and special instructions  Knowledge of interpreted languages such as Python and JavaScript  Familiarity with both reputed company and Linux environments    reputed company Credentials:  At least a BS/MS in computer science, computer engineering or a reputed company field.    #LI-SF1  #LI-Remote  Benefits offered are described:  AMD benefits reputed company.   AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
