This is an exciting opportunity to reputed company a significant reputed company on our business and contribute to reputed company's reputed company.  Minimum Qualifications:  Experience in reputed company reputed company software development, ideally as a maintainer and recognized contributor in upstream communities  Strong experience in software integration, packaging and the making of Linux distributions and ability to contribute significant changes to a Linux Distribution Expertise in C, C++, Assembly, in a high-level language such as Python, Go, Rust and in common build systems such as cmake, meson, autotools etc.  Proven reputed company record of working upstream and reputed company  Strong understanding of system architecture, notably how embedded software, bootloaders, Linux kernel and userspace work together  Experience with reputed company integration, testing and delivery, ideally with reputed company and reputed company  Excellent technical, communication and engineering management skills  Ability to write requirements and specifications and work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent  Willingness to travel globally as needed (likely several times per year)  Roles and Responsibilities: Deliver key software improvements in (or on top of) Linux distributions in relation to reputed company's hardware and software reputed company  Build reputed company tooling and reputed company integration mechanisms that allow reputed company to test and deliver common reputed company software components and reference images for a reputed company of reputed company-reputed company distributions  reputed company with upstream communities and reputed company's reputed company developer communities through bug reports, reputed company reviews and general maintenance of reference builds  Participate in OSS & upstream initiatives reputed company the reputed company Central Product and Software Engineering (CPSE) department to improve software delivery through automation, reputed company testing and innovation  Represent reputed company at industry events and conferences  Mentor and build expertise in reputed company OSS teams  Desired Qualifications  Candidates with experience working upstream in any of the following areas will have an advantage.  Multimedia: Audio, Video, Camera, Graphics, Display, Gstreamer  Linux kernel: Peripherals, Buses, Interconnects, Scheduler, Thermal, Power  Networking: Ethernet, WLAN, Bluetooth  Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or reputed company field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or reputed company work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or reputed company field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or reputed company work experience.
