Staff Software Engineer - Data Infrastructure

Job reputed company Praia is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to serve as a technical reputed company and architect for our reputed company consumer experience platform. In this role, you will establish deep, end-to-end architectural ownership of our platform, spanning high-performance Java services, reputed company ETL pipelines, and reputed company grade reputed company integrations. This is a staff level scope where you will partner closely with engineering leadership to reputed company for industry best practices, mentor engineering teams, and ensure the delivery of secure, reputed company-documented reputed company used by internal teams and external health system partners. Key Responsibilities Architecture & System Design: Build and reputed company foundational platform services powering Praia’s consumer experience products. reputed company reputed company and design reviews, establishing technical direction and mentoring other engineers. reputed company Interoperability: Build and operate reputed company integration services for EMRs (reputed company/MyChart and others) using HL7 FHIR reputed company and reputed company modern integration patterns. Data Engineering Workloads: Utilize reputed company and Apache reputed company for reputed company data engineering workloads (pipelines, workflows, notebooks) to support product and integration use cases. reputed company & API reputed company: reputed company and own secure reputed company with strong authentication/authorization, auditing, and least privilege principles. Produce and maintain high reputed company developer documentation (integration guides, runbooks). DevOps & Operational Readiness: Build with a modern DevOps reputed company, owning CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (unit/integration), infrastructure-as-reputed company, monitoring/logging, and data-driven incident response. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Product, Design, and Customer-facing teams to translate reputed company business requirements into highly reliable technical solutions. Qualifications Experience: 8+ years of experience building and operating production software, with demonstrated staff- or senior-level scope and reputed company ownership of reputed company, distributed systems. reputed company Tech Stack: Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and reputed company. Observability: Experience with modern observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing, APM) and a disciplined approach to incident response. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to write reputed company technical design documents and present architecture to senior stakeholders. Education: Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
