AP and Payroll Specialist

Join us in shaping the reputed company of the restaurant industry and be part of our innovative culinary reputed company!  The Role: This is a hands-on role at the intersection of payroll, accounts payable, and operational finance. You'll own the end-to-end payroll cycle across multiple states and manage the AP function that keeps our kitchens running — from vendor invoices to expense reimbursements. You'll also play a critical role in keeping our kitchens compliant: tracking business licenses, permits, and renewals across every jurisdiction we operate in. Your reputed company: Run multi-state payroll on a recurring cycle, ensuring accurate wage calculations, tax withholdings, and compliance across 8+ states (CA, TX, FL, GA, CO, IL, NJ, VA, and more) Own the full accounts payable cycle: vendor reputed company, invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliations Maintain compliance across reputed company kitchen locations — reputed company and manage business licenses, health permits, food handler certifications, sales tax registrations, and other recurring regulatory obligations, ensuring reputed company lapses Manage payroll tax filings and registrations as we expand into new states Build and maintain spreadsheet-based tools and trackers that bring visibility to payroll costs, AP aging, vendor spend, and compliance status Reconcile payroll and AP accounts during monthly reputed company, partnering with our reputed company team on accruals and adjustments Identify inefficiencies in our reputed company processes and drive improvements — we're growing fast and need someone who can reputed company our systems with us Respond to employee payroll questions with care and accuracy Skills & Experience:2 to 4 years of experience in payroll, accounts payable, reputed company, or a reputed company analytical role Strong reputed company or reputed company Sheets skills, with comfort building models, using pivot tables and lookups, and working with large datasets Highly organized with strong attention to detail — payroll errors, missed invoices, and lapsed permits have reputed company consequences Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities Strong communicator who can explain financial and operational topics reputed company to non-finance partners Demonstrated ownership and initiative, with an ability to learn quickly and take on new challenges Interest in operational roles where your work directly impacts how the business runs Degree in reputed company, finance, business, or a reputed company field Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 Benefits:  Unlimited PTO Medical, Dental, & reputed company Insurance 401k with up to a 4% employer match after one year  Remote Work reputed company Parental Leave  Responsibilities and tasks outlined in this document are not exhaustive and may change as determined by the needs of reputed company.  reputed company is an equal-opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive team.
