Key Responsibilities • Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts, conducting collection activities ethically and effectively. • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and other digital channels to negotiate payment solutions. • Analyze account information and customer financial situations to determine appropriate payment arrangements. • Document all collection activities accurately and completely in the system. • Adhere strictly to all collections laws, regulations, and company policies. • Identify and escalate complex or high-risk accounts to management. • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers while working towards resolution. • Process payments and establish payment plans according to guidelines. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing disputes or service issues impacting collections. Required Skills • Minimum 2 years of experience in collections, credit control, or a related financial role. • Proven track record of successfully negotiating payment plans and resolving disputes. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities, coupled with empathy. • Proficiency in using collections software and CRM systems. • Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume portfolio remotely. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • High level of integrity and adherence to ethical collection practices. • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
