Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Services Specialist to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you'll play a vital role in connecting, repairing, and rearranging arenaflex services for our customers. If you're a problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Connect, repair, and rearrange cable conductors to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Review and analyze prints, diagrams, or schematic drawings to identify and resolve issues
  • Splice and waterproof coverings to ensure durability and reliability
  • Repair and maintain outside plant facilities to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including climbing ladders and poles when necessary

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the telecommunications industry
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with:

  • Experience with cable installation, repair, and maintenance
  • Knowledge of telecommunications systems and infrastructure
  • Certifications or training in areas such as OSHA, first aid, or CPR
  • Fluency in multiple languages
