Our client, a leading innovator in online education, is searching for a dedicated and skilled Virtual High School Mathematics Instructor to join their fully remote team. This position is crucial for delivering high-quality mathematics curriculum to students across various grade levels, fostering a love for numbers, and ensuring academic success in a digital environment. As a remote educator, you will design and implement engaging online lesson plans, utilizing a variety of digital tools and platforms to create interactive learning experiences. Your responsibilities will include delivering live virtual instruction, facilitating online discussions, grading assignments and exams, and providing timely, constructive feedback to students. You will also be tasked with tracking student progress, identifying areas where students may need additional support, and collaborating with academic advisors and parents to develop intervention strategies. Maintaining clear and consistent communication with students, parents, and the wider academic team is essential for success in this role. Experience in curriculum development and adapting teaching methodologies for online delivery is highly valued. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of mathematics, excellent pedagogical skills, and a passion for leveraging technology to enhance education. A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field is required, along with a valid teaching certification. A Master's degree and experience with learning management systems (LMS) such as Canvas or Moodle are preferred.
