Our client is seeking an IP Operations Specialist to review and resolve intellectual-property reports — including DMCA takedowns, trademark complaints, and other enforcement requests. You’ll handle a steady flow of cases, communicate directly with rights holders and users, and ensure every decision meets both legal and operational standards. Responsibilities Daily Expectations for Your Role • Review, verify, and process copyright, DMCA, and trademark reports in compliance with platform policy and legal frameworks. • Communicate clearly and professionally with rights holders and users regarding takedowns, counter-notifications, and appeals. • Maintain complete and accurate documentation for every case in internal systems. • Identify edge cases and escalate them to the IP Operations Lead or Legal team as needed. • Contribute to refining workflows, templates, and macros to improve speed and consistency. • Monitor personal and team case queues to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure enforcement actions remain consistent with company policy and user experience goals. Qualifications for Success What It Takes Minimum Requirements: • 2–4 years of experience in IP enforcement, Trust & Safety, or Legal Operations within a tech or online-content platform. • Working knowledge of DMCA and intellectual-property frameworks. • Excellent written communication and professional correspondence skills. • High attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in queue-based work. • Experience with CRM or case-management tools (e.g., Zendesk or equivalent). • Sound judgment and ability to handle confidential data with discretion. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment. • Familiarity with automation tools or workflow optimization techniques. • Interest in the intersection of AI, intellectual property, and digital creativity. Compensation & Benefits • Competitive compensation package. • Full-time contract role (30+ hours per week). • Remote position with preference for Pacific Time hours. • Contract through November 10, 2025, with possibility of extension. • Opportunity to work with a mission-driven team shaping policy and protection for AI creators worldwide.
