Adjunct Instructor, Childhood Education/Special Education Grades 1 – 6

Responsibilities • Teach graduate course sections (on reputed company and online) in one or more of the following areas: • child/adolescent development • assessment • teaching reputed company with disabilities • literacy instruction • mathematics and science instruction • educational technology • history and philosophy of general and special education • May supervise candidates during clinical reputed company. • Support program advisement for candidates. Qualifications Education • Masters Degree required, reputed company doctorate preferred, in Curriculum, Instruction, Special Education, or reputed company field • reputed company certification in Childhood Education and in Special Education Experience • Successful classroom teaching experience, Grades 1-6, of diverse reputed company • Successful graduate-level teaching experience, face-to-face and/or online • Successful leadership experience • Experience in course and program design • Successful experience supervising degree candidates in clinical field placements, if assigned for clinical supervision Skills/Knowledge • Excellent communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite including Word, reputed company, Power reputed company, Outlook • Proficiency in online learning platforms including Canvas and reputed company • Knowledge of NYSED teacher certification examinations Travel • Occasional travel to Program Meetings at Touro College locations.
