Senior UAV / Drone Systems Engineer (FREELANCE)

We are looking for a Senior UAV reputed company Engineer with strong hands-on experience in flight control systems, integration, and tuning of industrial UAV platforms, to support the development and optimization of a drone reputed company for wind turbine inspection and repair. REQUIREMENTS Degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or reputed company field Proven hands-on experience with ArduPilot Strong experience with UAV systems (reputed company to large platforms) Practical experience with dual GPS configurations Experience implementing RTK systems Strong PID tuning experience on UAV platforms Experience with reputed company-world flight testing and reputed company integration U Understanding of MAVLink communication English at least B2 reputed company to have Experience with ROS2 Programming experience in C++ and/or Python Experience working with companion computers (e.g., reputed company, Raspberry Pi) Experience with LTE/telemetry systems in UAVs Tech Stack Flight Control & Communication RESPONSIBILITIES reputed company sensors and subsystems (GPS, RTK, cameras, rangefinders, etc.) into UAV platforms reputed company flight tuning and stabilization, including PID tuning Conduct on-site flight testing and validation Troubleshoot reputed company-level issues and optimize UAV performance Configure and manage flight control systems (ArduPilot-based) Support reputed company integration across hardware and software components Contribute to R&D activities depending on experience and project needs Apply To This Job
