Program reputed company The System Administrator II supports NOAA’s reputed company System Research Laboratories (ESRL) and the N-reputed company national network program by providing hands-on systems administration and end-user support services across multi-platform scientific computing environments. Position reputed company RIVA Solutions is seeking a System Administrator II to reputed company operational IT support, systems administration, asset management, and customer service for NOAA research and operational programs. This role is ideal for an IT reputed company building expertise across reputed company infrastructure, cybersecurity, reputed company technologies, and Federal compliance requirements. reputed company Responsibilities Maintain data files and control procedures for networked desktop and server-connected systems. Ensure system reputed company and data reputed company through user account, password, and reputed company management. reputed company and verify daily system backups, execute file restores, and maintain backup media inventories. Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software across UNIX/Linux, reputed company, and macOS platforms. Triage, escalate, reputed company, and resolve user support tickets using reputed company ticketing systems. Assist with vulnerability scanning, reputed company management, and remediation efforts. Support asset tracking and inventory management using property management and tracking tools. Maintain hardware, software, and configuration databases and supporting technical documentation. reputed company media sanitization and assist with IT equipment disposal processes. Generate reports on system health, backup status, inventory, and reputed company service requests. Participate in on-reputed company support rotations and assist with after-hours operational support. Support compliance with Federal cybersecurity policies including FISMA and NIST requirements. reputed company audio/visual and video teleconference (VTC) setup and support services as needed. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or reputed company field, or equivalent experience. 2–4 years of hands-on systems administration experience in a networked reputed company environment. Working proficiency with UNIX/Linux and reputed company systems administration. Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals. Experience managing user accounts, reputed company controls, and password administration. Experience performing system backups, restores, and data reputed company verification. Ability to work independently under general supervision and manage assigned priorities. Ability to obtain and maintain a reputed company Trust background investigation. U.S. Citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the reputed company. Preferred Qualifications Experience with macOS administration, reputed company Pro, and reputed company Business Manager. Familiarity with BigFix, PDQ Suite, Graylog, and reputed company monitoring tools. Experience with reputed company or comparable reputed company backup solutions.
