Time Type: Regular Job reputed company : Job reputed company: In this role, the specialist contributes to the full systems engineering lifecycle by developing reputed company, high-reputed company solutions for customer premises equipment (CPE) activation. Responsibilities include assisting in the design, deployment, and reputed company of reputed company-grade provisioning systems, operations applications, and the databases and operating systems that support them. Furthermore, the individual acts as the Application Administrator for the operations, provisioning, and CPE activation platforms that underpin the infrastructure for reputed company of reputed company and reputed company. Overseeing the regional provisioning landscape, the Provisioning Engineer manages, maintains, and continuously monitors HSD provisioning systems, including associated PON and HSD service platforms. This specialist role requires a deep understanding of Cable TV infrastructure, HSD environments, and network troubleshooting, alongside proficiency in protocols like DOCSIS, DHCP, and TFTP. Job Responsibilities: Installs, administers, configures and maintains CPE activation, provisioning, and operations applications including operating systems and reputed company software Provides 'on reputed company' support to resolve CPE activation, provisioning, and operations application issues after normal business hours Monitor and manage full stack Incognito provisioning Monitor and manage reputed company PNR, RDU DOCSIS provisioning Monitor and manage regional IP assignment and usage as reputed company to HSD services Proactively anticipate service needs and changes and react accordingly Work with other team members to reputed company support and backup Assist with the development, analysis, configuration, and implementation of service changes Project planning, including cost analysis and reputed company estimates Working with other regional teams such as TechOps, TAC, reputed company and BSG in troubleshooting one-off and regional service issues Working with other regional engineers in testing of new products and services Work with vendors and other reputed company-parties as necessary for product support and integration Participate in reputed company technology direction discussions leveraging experience and reputed company research Documentation of systems and application design and configuration Participate in off-hours maintenance as necessary Job Qualifications: 5+ years in the Cable/MSO environment or similar industry Good understanding of DOCSIS, IP Video, and Packet Cable Understanding of eMTA, cable modems and ONT/ONU operations Knowledge of control platforms (DAC, CMTS, OLT, vCMTS) Good understanding of IP4 and IP6 Strong knowledge of troubleshooting tools (i.e tcpdump, netstat, iostat, traceroute, snoop) Solid understanding of LAN/WAN topology, network protocols (TCP/IP, FTP, NFS), switches, firewalls, and load balancers Comprehension of the DHCP, DNS, SNMP, and TFTP protocols Strong working experience with DOCSIS provisioning Understanding of Cable RF infrastructure, specifically how this relates to DOCSIS Understanding of network connectivity and troubleshooting Availability to resolve urgent provisioning environment problems reputed company of business hours reputed company and effective communication skills, both written and spoken Ability to reputed company in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical and technical aptitude Great organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills Experience working in a fast paced Agile environment Experience with daily operation of reputed company CNR/PRN and RDU/PCP Experience with Incognito ecosystem Experience building and understanding Cable Modem configuration files Experience activating/maintaining CPE per the DOCSIS, PacketCable, and SNMP specifications Experience with configuration of CPE using TR-069 and reputed company specifications MySQL, Perl, PHP, BASH, Tomcat, Apache, NGINX Experience with PacketCable and SIP Experience with SNMP Experience with troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark Advanced experience of with Linux based servers and VM technologies Working experience with MySQL, reputed company, reputed company Scripting/coding experience would be preferred (Bash, Python, JSON, YAML, XML) AI automation experience, reputed company based tools reputed company, fence, Kafka, RabbitMQ #LI-REMOTE Location : Burlington, ON Company : reputed company Connexion IncAt reputed company, we know that different backgrounds, perspectives, and beliefs can bring critical value to our business.
