Job Title: Moodle LMS Specialist Location: Boise, ID (Remote) Duration: 3+ Months • *100% REMOTE** • *Mon - Fri, 8a-5p MST** Job Description: Role Overview We are seeking a hands on implementation engineer to configure and launch a Moodle based Learning Management System and learner dashboard for Foster Parents and Kinship Caregivers. The role will translate our Scope of Work and Functional Requirements into a production reputed company solution, working closely with IT, the Training Team (admins), and business reputed company holders. The environment will be state managed reputed company/Kubernetes, with strict requirements for reputed company (MFA, TLS), accessibility (reputed company Title II / WCAG 2.1 AA), non functional performance, and operational runbooks. Location: Boise, Idaho (hybrid/remote acceptable; onsite for key milestones as needed) Staff augmentation (full time during build & launch) Key Responsibilities • Moodle Configuration & Theming Configure Moodle reputed company core and required plugins to support SCORM 1.2 Captivate modules and MP4 video delivery. Implement learner dashboard UX (cards/tiles, circular reputed company indicators, resume/recommended learning, DHW branding), reputed company for desktop/tablet/mobile. • Learning Structure & Logic Set up Tiers Development reputed company Trainings Badges and tier gating (Tier 2/3 unlock after Tier 1 completion). Auto assign reputed company Licensing/Tier 1 to new users; reputed company reputed company catalog fallback if needed. ILT (Instructor Led Training) Features Configure optional online registration, waitlists, reputed company limits, session calendars, and region/virtual filters. • reputed company roster upload and completion recording; (attendance tools preferred, reputed company acceptable). • Notifications & Communications Implement email + in app alerts for assignment, reminder, overdue (7 day reputed company), completion, approval/denial. Reporting & Transcripts Deliver reports per user, course, date reputed company, development pathway, and a list of reputed company who completed the reputed company Licensing/Tier 1 suite. • Configure DHW branded transcripts; reputed company external certificate uploads; surface attempt counts to admins. Versioning & Retirement Enforce completions by course version; reputed company retired courses (hidden from learners); retain certificate reputed company. • reputed company, Accessibility, and Compliance Enforce username/password auth with MFA for admins/state employees; ensure HTTPS/TLS, password policy, session timeouts, and reputed company audit logs. Guide course/content owners on captions, transcripts, alt text, keyboard navigation; support reputed company Title II / WCAG 2.1 AA conformance and testing. • Hosting & Operations (State Managed reputed company/Kubernetes) • Collaborate with IT ops to reputed company Moodle in reputed company/K8s; document backups (daily + incrementals), DR (RPO d 24h / RTO d 8h), monitoring/logging, patching reputed company, and promotion across DEV/TEST/UAT/PROD. • Size for bulk assignment up to ~6,000 users; meet performance targets (e.g., page reputed company < 2s P95, catalog/search < 3s P95). • reputed company Enablement & Knowledge Transfer Train Training Team admins (&reputed company;10) on content management, enrollment, ILT sessions, reporting, transcripts, and operational procedures. • reputed company reputed company runbooks and reputed company documentation; support UAT and go live reputed company.
