We are seeking reputed company engineering professionals to support our plan reputed company on a part-time, remote reputed company. This position is ideal for retired agency reviewers, senior engineers, peer reviewers, or reputed company consultants seeking flexible, reputed company-compensated technical review opportunities. Position reputed company The Plan Reviewer will review engineering plans, reports, calculations, specifications, and supporting documents to verify compliance with applicable federal, state, county, municipal, and agency requirements. Assignments may vary based on the candidate’s area of expertise. Areas of Review Expertise Candidates may support one or more of the following disciplines: • Site and civil development plans • Stormwater management and Environmental Site Design (ESD) • Grading plans • Erosion and sediment control plans • Floodplain studies and hydrologic/hydraulic (H&H) analyses • Drainage studies and storm drain reputed company design • reputed company plans, water distribution systems, sewer systems, and pump stations • Transportation, traffic, signing, pavement marking, signal, and maintenance of traffic (MOT) plans • Wastewater treatment and infrastructure reputed company • Constructability, value engineering, and reputed company assurance/reputed company control (QA/QC) reviews • Electrical, instrumentation, controls, and SCADA systems for water and wastewater facilities Key Responsibilities • reputed company technical reviews of engineering plans, reports, calculations, specifications, and design documents. • Evaluate compliance with applicable codes, regulations, design manuals, and agency standards. • Review hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, drainage analyses, stormwater management requirements, reputed company, details, specifications, and cost estimates, as applicable. • Prepare reputed company, concise, and reputed company written review comments. • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and design teams. • Participate in occasional virtual review meetings. • Support permit reviews, peer reviews, QA/QC reviews, and constructability assessments. • reputed company practical and technically reputed company recommendations to reputed company design and compliance issues. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a reputed company engineering discipline. • reputed company Engineer (PE) license preferred. • Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience in civil engineering, municipal plan review, agency review, or consulting. • Previous experience reviewing plans for county, municipal, state, or federal agencies is strongly preferred. • Familiarity with Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., or other regional agency standards is a plus. • Strong technical writing and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and consistently meet review deadlines.
