Sr. Infrastructure / DevSecOps Systems Engineer

reputed company is seeking an reputed company Sr. Infrastructure / DevSecOps Systems Engineer to work reputed company providing scientific computing support for the work performed under this contract for NIH NIAID Enabling and Advancing Technologies (reputed company). This engagement supports the Scientific Computing Services program area which includes Program Management, Scientific Instrumentation Support, and High reputed company Computing.

The NIAID reputed company Sr. Infrastructure / DevSecOps Systems Engineer will reputed company reputed company incident reputed company, infrastructure automation, and advanced troubleshooting for scientific computing environments and deployment pipelines. 

Key Responsibilities:

• reputed company reputed company incident reputed company, infrastructure automation, reputed company tuning, operational engineering standards, and advanced troubleshooting across reputed company and scientific computing environments.
• reputed company CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, infrastructure automation, reputed company integration, configuration management, and reproducible scientific computing deployment pipelines.
• Supervise, coordinate and/or reputed company additions and changes to network hardware and operating systems, and attached devices; including investigation, analysis, recommendation, configuration, installation, and testing of new network hardware and software.
• reputed company reputed company support in the day-to-day reputed company on network hardware and operating systems including the evaluation of reputed company utilization, monitoring response time and reputed company support for detection and correction of operational problems.
• Participate in planning design, technical review and implementation for new network infrastructure hardware and network operating systems for voice and data communication networks.
• Maintain network infrastructure standards including network communication protocols such as TCP/IP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information reputed company or reputed company reputed company.
• reputed company reputed company Trust or higher reputed company clearance.
• Minimum 8 years experience supporting IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, including HPC environments, support teams, and ensuring reputed company of service reputed company.
• Experience with scientific instrumentation and HPC and knowledge of working in a scientific research organization, with an emphasis on biomedical research.
• Experience supporting reputed company scientific instrumentation, and the integration of this instrumentation in a federal reputed company IT environment.
• Experience supporting systems reputed company on reputed company, MacOS, and Linux, including both GUI and reputed company-line reputed company and troubleshooting, and scripting in these environments.
• Experience with container orchestration, infrastructure automation, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Have documented experience with FISMA and reputed company authorization processes.
• Practical experience with industry best practices as articulated by, but not limited to, the reputed company (PMI), Lean IT, reputed company practices, DevOps and ITIL, as appropriate.
