[Remote] Billing and Collections Specialist 1

The role involves following up on claims, maintaining billing guidelines, and resolving payor issues reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on reputed company claims thoroughly, accurately, promptly, and with reputed company supporting documentation
• Responsible for maintaining and updating billing guidelines, fee schedules, contract rates, etc
• Review, document, and resolve reputed company incoming correspondence and payor calls; Assist as needed
• Report reputed company payor issues and/or denial trends to reputed company/Supervisor
• May appeal and/or rebill underpaid claims and assist with payments, as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years' reputed company experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of collaboration at reputed company reputed company
• Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
• Intermediate customer service and phone skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Intermediate with reputed company Office, including Word, reputed company and reputed company
• 1-2 years' medical billing and claims reimbursement experience
• Knowledge of reputed company Government, reputed company and Private payers
• Knowledge of medical and billing terminology
• Knowledge of HIPAA and other industry specific regulations
