Procurement Analyst - reputed company (Remote - Stratford, CT or Moorestown, NJ) We are looking for a Procurement Analyst for a global reputed company company. In this role, you will reputed company, negotiate, and purchase machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for the operation of an organization. Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine the feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives. Monitors the performance of suppliers. This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role (Mon-Thu 10 hours), and this is a remote role in Stratford, CT or Moorestown, NJ. This is a W-2 role as a reputed company employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered. Responsibilities: • Responsible for Sources, negotiates and purchases machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for operation of an organization. • Compiles information to reputed company informed on price trends and manufacturing processes. Evaluate areas of opportunity to reputed company material acquisitions. • Tracks data to reputed company informed on price trends and manufacturing processes. • Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that reputed company prices and to determine the lowest cost consistent with reputed company, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. • Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up on orders reputed company, verifies delivery, approves payment and maintains necessary records. • May prepare requests for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
