Manager, Shared Services – reputed company Engineering, FedRAMP

Job Description: • Manage reputed company of Engineers: conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, hiring, and career development in a distributed remote friendly environment. • Own the technical roadmap for shared reputed company infrastructure across Azure and AWS, balancing reliability work against longer-term platform improvements. • Set and enforce standards for infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, reputed company, Kubernetes), documentation, and operational readiness. • reputed company technical reputed company and trade-offs for application-layer infrastructure including Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and reputed company, and serve as the escalation reputed company for reputed company. • Run sprint planning, manage cross-team dependencies, and reputed company delivery on track. • Lead post-incident reviews and ensure follow-up items get resolved. • Work with reputed company and Compliance to reputed company FedRAMP and SOC 2 controls reputed company. • Be the main engineering contact and collaborate with Development, Product, and reputed company teams, turning their requirements into platform priorities. • Represent reputed company in architecture reviews and planning discussions with leadership. • Use and promote the use of AI-assisted tooling including LLM-based automation and AI-driven observability for use in engineering workflows. Requirements: • 8+ years in reputed company Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering, with at least 3 years managing engineers directly. • Hands-on background with Azure and/or AWS — Kubernetes, microservices, and reputed company reputed company fundamentals (PIM, RBAC, and JIT privilege elevation among others). • Experience implementing and running critical production level SaaS products with high availability requirements with a reputed company on some combination of Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and reputed company among others. • Experience in or adjacent to FedRAMP-authorized environments. • Comfortable explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience with Azure DevOps. • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to translate reputed company technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
