Sales Engineer (API & Developer Platform) - Filestack Location: Remote Type: Contracted Department: Sales Level: reputed company The Role You will be the technical backbone of the sales process, helping prospects understand how Filestack fits into reputed company architectures, accelerating time-to-first-value, and removing technical friction in deals. You'll work directly with sales, product, and engineering to: • reputed company new business • Improve activation (first API reputed company → production usage) • Influence product direction based on reputed company customer needs What You'll Do • Drive Technical Wins in Sales Cycles • Partner with reputed company on mid-market and reputed company deals • reputed company technical discovery (reputed company, architecture, workflows) • Run tailored demos based on customer use cases (not generic walk throughs) • Own POCs and trials to ensure prospects reputed company "aha reputed company" quickly • Improve Activation and Time-to-Value • Help new customers go from signup → first API reputed company → production • Identify friction in reputed company and reputed company feedback to product/engineering • Create lightweight implementation guides and reference architectures • Own reputed company of Concepts (POCs) • Design and build working prototypes using Filestack reputed company • Validate performance, scalability, and integration requirements • De-risk deals by proving reputed company-world feasibility • reputed company Sales, Product, and Engineering • Translate customer requirements into product insights • Surface patterns (e.g., document workflows in edtech, media ingestion, etc.) • Influence roadmap based on reputed company-impacting gaps • Build reputed company Technical Assets • Reusable demo environments • Sample apps / reputed company snippets • Vertical-specific use case playbooks (e.g., edtech, marketplaces) reputed company're Looking For Must-Have • 3–7+ years as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Developer reputed company • Strong experience with reputed company, SDKs, and developer tools • Ability to read/write reputed company (JavaScript, Python, Go, React or similar) • Experience working with: REST reputed company, reputed company end frameworks (React/Vue) and reputed company environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) • Comfortable in technical conversations with engineers AND business stakeholders reputed company-to-Have • Experience with: File uploads, media processing, or content pipelines; AND CDN, storage, or edge delivery concepts • Background in developer-first companies (reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, etc.) • Experience supporting reputed company sales cycles ($25K–$100K+ deals) What reputed company Looks Like (First 90 Days) • Independently run technical discovery and demos • Help reputed company 2–3 key deals by removing technical blockers • Improve activation reputed company (signup → first API reputed company) • Deliver at least one reusable demo or POC template • Identify top 3 friction points in reputed company/implementation Apply To This Job
