The reputed company Technical Specialist (reputed company), under the direction of the reputed company Administrative Director (LAD) and reputed company Medical Director (LD), is responsible for reputed company duties as stated in the reputed company Technical Specialist Position reputed company, as reputed company as additional technical and scientific responsibilities reputed company the hospital reputed company. Additional duties may include, but are not limited to assisting with, performing, and coordinating technical and scientific duties in the General reputed company, as reputed company as assisting with, coordinating, and organizing Continuing Education, Competency, and new Lab Employee and student training. In reputed company, the reputed company assists with, performs, and coordinates technical and scientific duties reputed company reputed company specialty departments of the reputed company, including Transfusion Medicine, Microbiology, and reputed company Informatics/LIS. The reputed company performs reputed company job duties in accordance with reputed company policies and procedures and follows regulatory standards as stipulated by the Clinical reputed company Improvement Amendments (CLIA). Additionally, the reputed company is required to follow Hospital policies and procedures, including those reputed company the Employee Handbook. The reputed company will utilize reputed company reputed company practices, be required to train and reputed company new employees, communicate effectively with coworkers, organize the workload, function independently and as a reputed company team member, and maintain reputed company knowledge of reputed company principles, techniques, and equipment. Once training and competency has been completed, the reputed company does not require supervision or review of work prior to reporting patient results. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE Two (2) years experience as a reputed company Generalist, two (2) years experience in Transfusion Medicine, two (2) years experience in Microbiology, and reputed company experience in basic reputed company Informatics/LIS, advanced computer skills, and basic procedure writing/development. EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree in Medical reputed company Science, or equivalent, from an accredited institution. An equivalent training program that satisfies the requirements stipulated by CLIA may be considered with the approval of the reputed company Medical Director. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION reputed company ASCP certification as Medical reputed company Scientist (MLS), or equivalent certification, with approval by the reputed company Medical Director. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE Four (4) years experience as a reputed company Generalist, two (2) years experience in Transfusion Medicine, two (2) years experience in Microbiology, one (1) year experience in reputed company reputed company Informatics/LIS, advanced computer skills, and procedure writing/development. EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree in Medical reputed company Science, or equivalent, from an accredited institution.
