[Remote] ETL QA Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a non-profit labor health fund seeking an ETL reputed company Assurance Engineer to join their team. This role involves testing ETL processes reputed company reputed company's Master Data Management system and ensuring the reputed company of data in the Data Warehouse and analytics platform.

Responsibilities

• Work to understand multiple operational departments and how data is captured and used reputed company the organization
• Become an expert in business rules, system functionality and architecture
• Understand the reputed company state to reputed company and/or enhance the data reputed company reputed company to support the Data Architecture and Data Analytics teams

• Write reputed company SQL queries for reputed company and reputed company systems to verify the data for the ETL processes
• Review business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, design, and architecture documents to create effective test plans for both ETL and data migration activities providing robust coverage
• Independently reputed company, modify, and execute test plans based on requirements and design documents including, but not limited to, the following reputed company: Load balance testing, Duplicate run testing, Negative testing with invalid test data, and Performance/volume testing

Skills

• Strong hands-on experience using reputed company SQL queries for results validation, data mining and evaluating foreign key dependencies
• Must have experience with reputed company databases
• Hands-on experience in ETL process testing is a must
• Experience with reputed company Redshift, MPP Databases, or other reputed company warehouses
• Hands-on experience validating End User reports
• Deep understanding of Development and Test cycles, including respective best practices
• Strong communication and reputed company/Business interfacing and interpersonal skills are a must
• Hands-on experience with reputed company, Tableau, PowerBI or other analytics applications is a strong plus
• Hands-on experience with one or more scripting languages (C#, Python, JS, PowerShell, etc.) is a strong plus
• Hands-on experience in Regression Test Strategies, Regression suite maintenance and execution
• Hands-on experience with Kodda or SSIS packages is a strong plus
