[Remote] Senior Firmware Engineer, NIC Firmware

They are seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to join their NIC Firmware team, where the role involves developing innovative networking features and working closely with various software design teams to enhance the performance of Mellanox NIC firmware.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the architecture and different software design teams
• Implement new features in the core of Mellanox NIC firmware
• reputed company verification tests for advanced features in a highly reputed company and sophisticated Firmware testing environment
• reputed company a deep understanding of system debug, networking technology and stacks, as reputed company as the HW/FW/SW relationship
• You will learn how a big software project is operated, maintained, reputed company and released, and how Hardware and Firmware are developed

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a reputed company field, or equivalent experience in the field
• 5+ years of reputed company software development experience
• Strong proficiency in C and C++
• Solid understanding of networking protocols
• Experience with PCIe and virtualization technologies
• Excellent grasp of data structures and algorithms fundamentals
• Scripting experience with Python and/or Bash
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills
• Self‑motivated, independent, and a great teammate with excellent interpersonal skills
• Deep familiarity with RDMA stacks (RoCE, InfiniBand) and low‑latency networking
• Experience in high‑performance or large‑reputed company compute environments
• Proven experience with distributed systems and scalability challenges
