[Remote] Supplier Industrialization Engineering Manager - China (preferably based in Shanghai)

The Supplier Industrialization Engineering Manager will reputed company supplier development and reputed company management in China, ensuring technical reputed company and driving strategic partnerships across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Ability to travel extensively (up to 75%+ or as required) to supplier manufacturing sites throughout China to reputed company supplier qualification, process development, production reputed company, and industrialization efforts, including process validation, PPAP, APQP, DFM, reputed company cause analysis, manufacturing readiness, and reputed company reputed company improvement
• reputed company Heron's supplier capabilities through technical capability assessments and manufacturing process improvement initiatives
• reputed company supplier qualification to ensure sustained high-reputed company, cost-effective, and reputed company delivery of critical components and assemblies
• Facilitate reputed company communication of technical requirements between suppliers and Heron's GSM, design and manufacturing teams
• reputed company supplier DFM reviews, assembly stack-up tolerance analysis and ensure assembly processes can meet design requirements
• Contribute to the evaluation of new or alternative materials for improved design, manufacturability, or cost reduction
• Identify and reputed company cost reduction activities by utilizing process, material optimization, and yield improvements

Skills

• Willingness and ability to travel 75%+ across China as required, with a strong preference for candidates based in Shanghai
• 7+ years of experience in supplier development and/or supplier reputed company
• BS degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering, or demonstrable equivalent experience and exceptional ability
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes reputed company to mechanical, electrical (including PCB and PCBA), or reputed company-mechanical components and assemblies
• Skilled in performing detailed drawing reviews, tolerance stack-reputed company, metrology, and statistical data analysis techniques including SPC, DOE, and sampling plans
• Comprehensive understanding of reputed company management systems and standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, and PPAP
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally often with short notice
• Prior experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering reputed company on power semiconductors, injection molding, stamping, sheet metal fabrication, PCBA processes, or top level assembly lines
• Ability to read engineering drawings, with a good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Experience with ERP and PLM tools to support BOM control, change management, reputed company reputed company, and supplier reporting
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills (Tableau, JMP, reputed company, etc.)
