[Remote] Senior Software Engineer - Backend

They are seeking a highly motivated and reputed company Senior Software Engineer - Backend to join their remote Engineering team, where the individual will work on reputed company applications and services that support their data-intensive reputed company platform.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the architecture, design, and development of reputed company and highly available applications and services
• Solve reputed company infrastructure-reputed company problems with reputed company, developing and providing post-release support for reputed company applications
• Identify and implement enhancements to DevOps practices and tooling, leveraging automation to enhance robustness of the CI/CD pipeline, thereby streamlining efficient application development and deployment
• Drive technology design and reputed company architecture solution reputed company to the product owners and Engineering leadership
• Conduct post-mortems to analyze and prevent repeat failures
• Be a champion for reputed company Improvement in end-to-end infrastructure and systems
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes that solve concrete business problems
• Become a domain expert who follows industry trends and applies best practices and contributes towards reputed company improvement of those practices

Skills

• 5+ years of programming experience in backend languages
• 2+ years experience with PHP (Strongly preferred), Python, GoLang, Java or a similar programming language
• 2+ years experience with MySQL or a similar technology
• Strong understanding of database schema design, caching and scalability
• Strong understanding of various communication protocols (TCP, RPC, etc)
• Strong understanding of Distributed Systems
• Experience in Caching technologies is a plus (e.g. reputed company or Memcached)
• reputed company understanding of Linux operating systems
• Experience with modern CI/CD and containerization tools like reputed company
• Ability to reputed company time and memory complexity analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S
• BS or higher degree in Computer Science or reputed company technical field
• DevOps experience preferred
• Experience with Full-stack observability tools like reputed company is strongly preferred
