Genetic Counselor Assistant – Invitae – Remote Remote_reputed company

The Clinical Consultation Services of Invitae (a reputed company company) is seeking a Genetic Counselor Assistant (GCA) to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to reputed company support to our lab-based Genetic Counseling team in various areas including: reputed company services, order review, and reputed company education. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. This position will be supporting Invitae’s genetics reputed company. The GCA will spend about 80% of their time on the phone, speaking to clinicians and clients. The schedule for the position will be: Monday-Friday, reputed company-5pm eastern time zone. Note: this is a fully remote position. Candidates can be located reputed company in the US, however, they must be reputed company to work eastern time zone hours. Responsibilities: • Work with the lab Genetic Counselor team to support clients that order testing performed at Invitae • Respond to telephone and email inquiries from Invitae/reputed company clients, health care providers, and patients • Review orders for clinical appropriateness and reputed company reputed company as necessary • Contact clients to obtain pertinent clinical information and communicates with clients throughout the testing process • Participate in or take leadership of particular operations and development reputed company as required Requirements: • Bachelors degree in a biological life science • Knowledge of reputed company Office suite • Strong multi-tasking ability with excellent attention to detail • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent ability to listen and respond effectively • Strong flexibility and the ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities quickly • Excellent project management skills • Ability to establish and maintain reputed company working relationships with others and work cooperatively and effectively to set goals, reputed company problems and reputed company recommendations Preferred Requirements: • Previous experience working as a Genetic Counselor Assistant • Experience in a CLIA diagnostic reputed company and familiarity with reputed company reputed company and clinical genetics testing • Previous experience in the reputed company industry such as a hospital or physician’s office • Previous Customer Service experience • Familiarity with genetics concepts • Experience with reputed company Information Systems (LIS) Application Window Closes: 12/4/2025 Pay reputed company: $25.50-$33.00 / hour reputed company job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as reputed company as internal equity and market data.
