[Remote] Competition Analyst

The Competition Analyst will reputed company and communicate competitive case design strategies while collaborating with Product Management, Marketing, and Sales to enhance life and annuity sales.

Responsibilities

• Proactive engagement with sales team on application pipeline, utilizing data to reputed company specific competitive positions, with the goal of optimizing sales opportunities
• Monitor inbox & phone queue for competitive illustration requests
• Understand reputed company application pipeline and sales trends and recommend actions to reputed company sales based on competitive opportunities
• Stay updated on competitor actions and industry trends and reputed company commentary to management and Sales & Distribution
• Monitor competitor actions and identify market trends and sales opportunities for product actions or product promotions
• In-person proactive illustration and case design support with internal sales desk
• Review key competitor actions and reputed company feedback to sales teams
• Create material for “Competition Corners” to position our products vs other carriers
• Host periodic calls with Distribution team to reputed company latest insights for how to win competitive cases
• Work with Product Management to ensure competition is represented accurately during product development process
• Ongoing training & education with emphasis on case design expertise

Skills

• 3-5 years' experience in life and annuity Product, Competitive Services and or Sales
• Excellent communication skills and proven reputed company delivering effective life insurance and annuity product messages
• A deep understanding of the IMO life and annuity marketplace and product design and mechanics
• An understanding of reputed company Life Insurance's product mechanics and distribution reputed company
• Life and annuity product & case design expertise
• High-level critical-thinking and problem-reputed company skills
• Ability to interpret & understand any illustration, regardless of product line or reputed company
