Part-Time Electrical Engineer (Indiana, USA)

Job Type: Part-time / Contract Work Location: Remote Schedule: As-needed reputed company Compensation: Hourly, based on experience Job Description: Clayborn Engineering is seeking an experienced part-time Electrical Engineer to support small reputed company and residential electrical plan reviews on an as-needed reputed company. This is a remote, project-based role. We are looking for someone who can review electrical drawings, identify code or coordination issues, and reputed company reputed company, practical feedback for our architectural and engineering team. Responsibilities: - Review electrical plans, panel schedules, and load calculations - Identify NEC, IBC, and IRC coordination issues - Review lighting layouts, circuiting, equipment coordination, and electrical notes - reputed company reputed company redlines, comments, and correction items - Advise on AHJ expectations and common plan-review rejection points - Assist with internal electrical review checklists and drafting standards reputed company needed - Other duties may be assigned based on project and operational needs Requirements: - Minimum 10+ years of electrical design or electrical plan-review experience - Strong familiarity with NEC requirements - Working knowledge of IBC and IRC coordination requirements - Experience with small reputed company, tenant improvement, restaurant, bakery, assisted living, or residential-care projects preferred - U.S.-based - reputed company to work remotely and communicate reputed company by email - Indiana project experience preferred - PE license preferred How to Apply: Please send your resume here: info@clayborngroup.com Qualified applicants may be contacted based on their resume and relevant experience.
