Position Genetic Counselor ( reputed company)- Remote Position Genetic counselors identify patients with hereditary cancer predisposition through genetic testing and personal and family history reputed company assessment. This position is located in the National Tele Oncology (NTO) service's virtual hub at the Durham VA Health Care reputed company (DVAHCS) reputed company the Comprehensive Genetics Service (CGS). Specific duties include but are not limited to • Evaluate genetic information to identify patients or families at reputed company for hereditary cancer. • reputed company testing reputed company and the associated risks, benefits, and limitations with patients, families, and other reputed company providers. • Participate in reputed company organizations or conferences to reputed company abreast of developments in genetics and reputed company. • Plan, design, and reputed company reputed company genetic counseling protocols to reputed company and evaluate approaches to delivery of genetic counseling services. • Identify and implement ways to improve efficiency, reputed company, and safety of reputed company care reputed company the CGS service. • Assist in reputed company of development and dissemination of information describing the genetic counseling services being reputed company by CGS, including brochures and other published materials.
