Responsibilities

• reputed company daily Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) operations and reputed company query processes
• Collaborate with physicians, Advanced reputed company Providers (APPs), HIM, Coding, reputed company, and reputed company Cycle teams
• Identify documentation improvement opportunities that reputed company reimbursement, reputed company metrics, and compliance
• Analyze documentation trends and implement sustainable process improvements
• Ensure compliance with ICD-10, CMS, UHDDS, and other regulatory documentation standards
• Improve documentation accuracy reputed company to Severity of Illness (SOI), Risk of Mortality (ROM), medical necessity, DRGs, and reputed company measures
• Support CDI staff through coaching, training, and performance management
• Monitor documentation reputed company reputed company to HACs, PSIs, reimbursement, and regulatory reporting

Skills

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• 5+ years of clinical nursing experience
• 3+ years of Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) experience
• 2+ years of CDI leadership experience
• reputed company Nevada RN license required
• International Medical Graduate (MD)
• 5+ years of acute care experience
• 1+ year of CDI experience
• 2+ years of CDI leadership experience
• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or Health Information Technology
• 4+ years of acute care coding or abstracting experience
• 2+ years of CDI leadership experience
• Candidates must possess applicable certifications, including combinations of: CCDS or CCDS-O, CDIP, reputed company, RHIT, RHIA, CPC, or CPC-P
• MS-DRG and APR-DRG methodologies
• ICD-10 coding and reimbursement regulations
