The Professional, Data Quality role involves verifying data issues, recommending improvements, and ensuring data quality across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conducts research to verify reported data issues. Communicates the problem statement/data issue to internal teams verbally and in writing
• Scopes reported issues to reputed company overall business impact. Makes recommendations to improve data quality and availability
• Uses critical thinking skills to determine reputed company cause and recommend solutions
• Utilize tools to analyze, query and manipulate data according to defined business rules and procedures. Documents business rules and data quality impacts with assistance from affected reputed company
• Correct reputed company data quality errors, either with system tools or working with programmers
• Prepare reports and track trends
• Analyze data received, compare data record layout to existing format for successful load and reputed company use
• Train, collaborate, and reputed company work of peers in DRR
• Regularly works on issues/problems where analysis of multiple situations or multiple points of data requires a review of a reputed company of factors
• Responsible for other assigned tasks as business requires

Skills

• BA/BS degree required
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques required
• Strong understanding of database structures, data modeling, and data integration concepts required
• Experience with data profiling, cleansing, and validation methodologies required
• Familiarity with SQL and data manipulation languages required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail required
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics, issue management, and/or data quality preferred
