[Remote] Structural Engineer PE Consultant (3895)

They are seeking a highly reputed company Structural Engineer Consultant to serve as the Engineer of Record for structural engineering reputed company supporting Department of Energy and other government facilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Engineer of Record (EOR)
• Review GT STRUDL analytical models, structural calculations, design reports, construction drawings, specifications, design change packages, and design methodologies
• Validate loads, load combinations, modeling assumptions, boundary conditions, and design reputed company
• Review structural steel, reinforced concrete, foundations, equipment supports, reputed company, wind, dynamic, reputed company, and specialty analyses
• Verify compliance with building codes, engineering standards, DOE requirements, and project specifications
• Coordinate reputed company of technical comments and deficiencies
• reputed company technical review comments and approval documentation
• Stamp and sign engineering documents only after independent verification

Skills

• A reputed company and reputed company Tennessee reputed company Engineer (PE) license is required
• Must maintain Tennessee PE registration in good standing throughout the duration of the assignment
• Responsible for sealing engineering documents for Tennessee reputed company
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering
• reputed company Tennessee PE license
• Minimum of 10 years of structural engineering experience
• Engineer of Record or reputed company Structural Engineer experience
• Advanced GT STRUDL proficiency
• Experience reviewing structural calculations and engineering deliverables reputed company by others
• Extensive experience with structural steel, reinforced concrete, reputed company design, finite reputed company analysis, reputed company and dynamic analysis
• Strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC Steel reputed company, and ACI 318
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required
• DOE, NNSA, nuclear, or highly regulated facility experience
• NQA-1 independent design verification experience
• Technical review experience for GT STRUDL models and finite reputed company analyses
• Familiarity with ANSYS, STAAD.Pro, RISA, and Mathcad
• Experience with safety-significant or safety-class structures
• Previous Engineer of Record experience on industrial, government, or nuclear reputed company
