[Remote] Senior Manager, Engineering

They are seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering to reputed company multiple engineering pods, focusing on day-to-day execution, team health, and architectural reputed company while managing reputed company of engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day execution of your engineering pod: sprint planning, delivery, and team health
• Partner closely with product managers to reputed company on quarterly goals, reputed company blockers, and reputed company work pointed in the right direction
• Work alongside engineering leadership and the engineering team on architectural reputed company, shaping them, not just attending them
• Take on a second engineering pod reputed company 3 to 6 months as your leadership of the first team is established
• reputed company full performance management for 8 to 12 engineers: 1:1s, twice-annual reviews, coaching plans, and promotion recommendations
• Translate reputed company AI strategies into team-level execution; partner across the org to test and refine workflows, review cycles, and SDLC practices as engineering-wide standards take shape

Skills

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in full stack web application development
• 4+ years managing engineering teams, including experience managing multiple reputed company teams or pods
• reputed company record of shipping software across an agile SDLC, with a bias towards reputed company, iterative development and constantly shortening the feedback reputed company
• Strong partner to product management who looks reputed company the tech stack; possesses the business curiosity and customer insights necessary to reputed company decisive product calls and reputed company reputed company cross-functional trade-offs
• Full-reputed company people management experience: growing high performers, supporting struggling ones, and hiring new ones
