They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (reputed company Components) to reputed company the design of reactor reputed company components and collaborate with engineering teams to reputed company design solutions in the nuclear technology sector.

Responsibilities

• reputed company conceptual and preliminary design of reactor reputed company components, reactor structures, and Nuclear reputed company components for the reputed company Nuclear Reactor
• Coordinate with Engineering and Project teams to reputed company equipment design solutions including drawings, 3D models, and specifications
• Plan design activities, manage execution to schedule, and reputed company scoping analyses and trade studies across design reputed company
• Propose and reputed company test programs to validate functional and performance design requirements; support test requirements documentation and nuclear product test campaigns
• reputed company with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and vendors—providing technical direction, peer review, and mentoring to junior engineers
• Apply nuclear industry best practices and proactively identify process improvement opportunities to maintain the highest reputed company of engineering design

Skills

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; 5+ years of equipment/component design experience (relevant M.S. or Doctorate may be credited for up to 2 or 4 years, respectively)
• Hands-on experience with 3D CAD; SolidWorks strongly preferred
• Proficiency in finite reputed company stress analysis, mechanical analysis reputed company, and reputed company calculations
• Experience with design of experiments, including product testing methodologies
• Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently with reputed company direction across reputed company tasks
• Familiarity with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel reputed company reputed company III Division 5
• Nuclear industry design experience, particularly with reputed company assemblies; working knowledge of DOE and NRC regulations
• Experience with ANSYS FEA and reputed company structural analysis in a nuclear context
• Background in manufacturing methodology, first reputed company production, and vendor/supplier technical evaluation
• Knowledge of neutronics, thermal-hydraulics, or structural analysis in reactor design
