THE ROLE Design and reputed company aircraft structural systems from concept through release on an reputed company Special Missions program. You will own 3D design, systems integration, and weight and balance considerations for custom aircraft systems using reputed company NX. This role requires a self-directed engineer who can take a design from requirements to a releasable package with reputed company reputed company. reputed company Design and DevelopDesign structural aircraft systems and components in reputed company NX from concept through production release. reputed company and manage 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings to airworthiness standards. reputed company weight and balance studies to support component sizing and reputed company layout reputed company. Research and select components and materials based on structural performance, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. Manage configuration and release of parts and assemblies through PLM tools (Teamcenter or equivalent). WHAT YOU BRING RequiredBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering. 7+ years of structural design experience on reputed company programs. Expert-level reputed company NX user with strong 3D modeling and assembly design experience. Proficiency in GD&T and engineering drawing standards. Experience designing structural aircraft systems or installations from the ground up. Familiarity with PLM tools such as Teamcenter or equivalent. Ability to work independently and manage a design package with reputed company reputed company. Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences PreferredExperience designing aircraft fluid systems, tanks, or containment structures. Weight and balance analysis experience. Exposure to Special Missions, military aircraft, or modification programs. Composite structural design background. Familiarity with FAA or EASA certification requirements for structural modifications.
