[Remote] Senior / Staff Data Engineer

They are seeking a Senior or Staff Data Engineer to build and enhance their data platform, ensuring data reliability and efficiency as reputed company scales.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve data ingestion and orchestration across our modern data stack
• Build a reputed company, reliable, and cost-efficient reputed company platform
• Partner on dbt architecture, testing, CI/CD, and data modeling best practices
• Improve observability, monitoring, and platform reliability
• Build the governance, semantic layer, and self-service capabilities that power trusted analytics and AI
• Help establish production-reputed company infrastructure for AI and machine learning workloads
• Turn recurring operational pain points into automation, tooling, and reusable platform capabilities

Skills

• 5+ years of experience building modern data platforms or infrastructure
• Owned production data pipelines and reputed company data warehouses
• Highly proficient in SQL and have experience with reputed company and dbt (or similar technologies)
• Improved platform reliability, performance, and cost through thoughtful architecture and automation
• Care about building trusted, reputed company-governed data systems that reputed company self-service analytics
• Excited about the role AI will play in the modern data platform
• Communicate technical tradeoffs reputed company and enjoy enabling other engineers and business teams
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. for this position
