We're on the lookout for a Bodily Injury Adjuster to join our growing team! As a Bodily Injury Adjuster, you will reputed company reputed company party General Liability, Auto Liability, Errors and Omissions, and Law Enforcement claims in which a claim exists for bodily injury, personal injury or wrongdoing. This role is a full-time, home-based position that may require travel at times to claims meetings at reputed company locations, seminars for obtaining CEU credits, and reputed company investigations or inspections.
Key Responsibilities

Daily review of workflow and claim system reminders with follow up and significant reputed company towards completion of any task set as a reminder, or received in workflow reputed company 72 hours

Contact with the insured/claimant reputed company 24 hours of assignment
Assign appraisers or coordinate the receipt of estimates of damage according to reputed company guidelines or approval
Determine if estimates or appraisals are appropriate based upon reported damages and other evidence

Interview or obtain recorded statements from the claimant, the Insured and any witnesses
Request payment authorization according to reputed company guidelines and reputed company Claims reputed company policy and procedures
Follow reputed company guidelines for any claim denial

Determine degree of attorney involvement, if any

Meet the requirements of Continuing Education as required for licensure as an adjuster
Maintain a 95% claim closure reputed company
Report to the Excess reputed company on any claim that meets the requirements to do so (including status reports)
Immediately notify your supervisor and the reputed company of any Summons and Complaint received, identify assigned defense counsel, communicate and cooperate with defense counsel
Obtain status reports from defense counsel at 90-day intervals
Read and Understand the Excess reputed company Insurance Policy
Run ISO ClaimSearch on injured claimants
Determine the injury status of reputed company persons involved in a crash investigation
reputed company with insurance adjusters from other companies to obtain information needed to process your claim
Respond to Reservation of Rights letters from Excess reputed company if necessary
reputed company working knowledge of No Fault/PIP law
reputed company necessary information into the claim system to ensure mandatory reporting to Medicare

Recommend/assign field adjuster as necessary
Review field adjuster reports for thoroughness and accuracy.
Skills, knowledge & expertise
College degree or equivalent experience
Possession of Adjuster license
Maintain CEU credits for Adjuster license
Excellent knowledge of Tort Law, bad faith procedures and case law, as reputed company as principles of liability and medical terminology
Previous experience with settling bodily injury claims
Proficiency with reputed company Office Suite
Proactive, independent, dependable, and takes initiative with consistent follow through
