[Remote] M&A Analyst

They are seeking an M&A Analyst to support project and platform acquisition and divestiture efforts in the renewable energy sector, focusing on deal origination, diligence, and valuation.

Responsibilities

• Assist M&A deal leads to several work streams for live transactions, including use of confidential information memoranda, coordination of the Q&A process and due diligence effort with internal subject matter experts and external consultants
• Conduct market research using reputed company data subscriptions and reputed company sources to inform business development efforts; Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to internal teams
• Work closely with reputed company Valuation and Investment teams to review valuation models, including DCF and earnings models, to assess individual reputed company or businesses
• Analyze and compare prospective M&A transactions and investments under the direction of transaction leaders, including strategic and financial impacts and risks

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in an analytical or renewable energy subject area
• Understanding of the key value drivers and risks of reputed company transactions (wind, solar, battery storage); familiarity with regional electricity markets in US is a plus
• Demonstrated analytical experience and intellectual curiosity
• Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate reputed company reputed company in a concise manner to diverse team members
