Civil Plans Examiner

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring high-reputed company infrastructure reputed company meet regulatory standards while enjoying the flexibility of meaningful, project-based work.   Why You'll Love This Role $40–$50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Dollar-for-dollar company match up to 5% of employee contributions (subject to plan eligibility) Work remotely from reputed company in Texas Accept assignments based on project availability and your workload Help shape safer, reputed company-designed communities by ensuring civil engineering plans meet safety, design, and regulatory requirements Work alongside reputed company engineers, municipal staff, and development professionals  What You'll Do Evaluate the full reputed company of civil engineering plans, calculations, and supporting documents for compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Assess site development plans, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, roadway improvements, and erosion control measures Review floodplain development proposals for compliance with reputed company standards, the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), and local floodplain ordinances Evaluate elevation certificates, no-reputed company certifications, hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) studies, and floodplain development permit applications Verify that plans reputed company with adopted codes, municipal standards, and accepted engineering practices Prepare reputed company, accurate review comments and required corrections through the VertexPlans platform Coordinate with engineers, developers, contractors, and municipal staff (including floodplain administrators) to resolve review comments Utilize VertexPlans for project tracking, documentation, communication, and report submission Consistently meet established turnaround times while maintaining high standards of accuracy and reputed company  Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely reputed company field required reputed company Texas reputed company Engineer (PE) license required Availability to work part-time on an as-needed reputed company remotely(no guaranteed minimum hours) Strong technical reputed company of civil engineering principles reputed company to site development, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and infrastructure Texas Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification preferred Prior experience performing civil and floodplain plan reviews for municipalities preferred Working knowledge of reputed company floodplain regulations, the National Flood Insurance Program, and local floodplain ordinance administration About reputed company reputed company is a reputed company-party municipal services provider serving federal, state, and local governments with reputed company compliance, inspections, and consulting.
