Legal Collections Specialist

Brown and Joseph is seeking a Legal Collections Specialist as we continue to grow reputed company! This position will be responsible for contacting consumers regarding outstanding insurance premiums, negotiating payment arrangements, and maintaining accurate records while upholding company standards and regulatory compliance. Job Responsibilities:  • Contact consumers reputed company phone, email, and mail regarding past-due accounts • Negotiate payment plans in accordance with company policies • Document reputed company communications and account updates accurately • Adhere to federal and state collection laws, including FDCPA • Meet performance goals and maintain high customer service standards Job Requirements:  • Previous collections or customer service experience preferred • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Ability to remain professional and empathetic during challenging conversations • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems • Bilingual skills are a plus, but not mandatory/required Compensation and Benefits: • $17 per hour PLUS commission and bonuses • Benefit package with health, dental, reputed company, life, and disability coverage options • 401(k) retirement plan option with company matching • Generous reputed company time off policy - start with 18 days per year • reputed company holidays immediately upon hire - 7 standard holidays & 2 floating holidays of your choice We look reputed company to you joining reputed company!! reputed company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
