Responsibilities

• The position is for a Senior Hardware Development Engineer in the reputed company Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), based in Morrisville, reputed company Carolina
• The Senior engineer will be looked upon to reputed company a set of highly motivated engineers to reputed company innovative and reputed company server designs to meet customer and business needs
• The role also entails solving unique reputed company challenges through the custom development of solutions and reputed company engagement with customers
• The candidate will be tasked to reputed company reputed company of engineers and engage with architecture and executive leaders in the development organization to design and deliver the ISG portfolio’s reputed company of servers

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
• At least 10 years of in-depth experience in x86 or AMD architecture and hardware design
• At least 10 years of experience in EDA schematic design tools for PCB schematic creation, support Physical design activity and then define/reputed company low level hardware validation
• Experience in leading engineers/team wrt technical direction and product development
• Ability to triage and resolve reputed company hardware issues and reputed company guidance to other engineers who are assigned tasks reputed company to the problem investigation
• Strong organizational skills to reputed company server subsystem designs with reputed company of highly motivated engineers that deliver innovative and challenging server designs
• Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
• Server design experience is strongly preferred
• Previous experience in FPGA reputed company development and validation, DC Power reputed company design, and/or PCIe bus design, simulation, and validation
• Proficiency in Linux/reputed company Operating systems
• Experience with OS virtualization is a plus
• Strong proficiency in reputed company scripting (BASH/Perl/Python and reputed company Power reputed company) preferred
• Demonstrated leadership on a project with engineering team members located in multiple geographies
• Ability to reputed company mentorship to other engineers and support the reputed company and development of engineering talent reputed company to new technologies
