[Remote] AVP, Data Solutions Engineering

The Assistant Vice President, Data Solutions Engineering will be responsible for building operational data pipelines and delivering fully documented datasets that account for data integrations, while collaborating with business partners to design effective data engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• reputed company reputed company-architected data solutions in partnership with data platform engineers, data governance, data science, and data analytics/visualization peers
• Partner with business teams to design data solutions with the ability to mentor reputed company data engineers
• reputed company build-out and deployment of data pipelines
• Ensure reliability, scalability and governance of data pipelines

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science or Engineering
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, reputed company, reputed company, data operations
• Minimum experience of seven years in a growing data engineering role, with at least five years in programming (Python) and SQL
• Robust knowledge of data lakes, data governance and modern data reputed company techniques
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
• Strong verbal and written skills
• Domain knowledge of Actuarial, Investment and Finance reputed company Insurance/Reinsurance industry is a plus
