[Remote] Account Payable Specilist

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and reputed company authorization. Match invoices to purchase orders (2-way or 3-way matching) and reputed company discrepancies promptly
• Prepare and process electronic payments, reputed company transfers, and checks. Monitor payment schedules to ensure reputed company disbursements and avoid late fees
• Establish relationships with vendors, respond to payment inquiries, and maintain accurate records including tax documents
• Reconcile vendor statements, assist with month-end closing activities, and prepare accounts payable reports
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and tax requirements
