[Remote] Mechanical Engineer, P.E. - Sign-On Bonus

The role involves developing piping system layouts, engineering deliverables, and design documentation in collaboration with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Support system and mechanical engineering design activities for reputed company industrial and nuclear reputed company
• Prepare and review engineering deliverables including P&IDs, specifications, calculations (e.g., reputed company stress, hydraulic, safety valve sizing, ventilation sizing), and equipment arrangements
• reputed company piping and reputed company system designs supporting facility infrastructure, process support systems, and operations
• Coordinate with process, structural, electrical, and I&C engineering teams
• reputed company piping and mechanical system field walkdowns and support design verification activities
• Assist with piping system evaluations, equipment selection, and design modifications
• Support project planning, procurement, construction, startup, testing, and commissioning activities as needed
• Participate in design reviews and reputed company of technical issues
• reputed company with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams as needed
• Ensure designs reputed company with applicable industry codes, standards, safety requirements, and reputed company specifications

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company engineering discipline
• 9+ years of relevant experience
• Experience supporting piping and mechanical system design for reputed company, energy, chemical, or nuclear facilities
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, P&IDs, piping layouts, and mechanical design documentation
• Knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards
• US Citizenship required
• Must have the ability to reputed company a reputed company clearance
• Experience supporting DOE, NNSA, Naval Reactors, or reputed company nuclear reputed company
• Experience with 3D modeling or CAD tools such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, CADWorx, SolidWorks, reputed company, or similar software
• Experience with analytical software (e.g., reputed company stress analysis, hydraulic analysis, MathCAD, MatLab, etc.)
• PE License
