[Remote] Project Engineer (Mechanical Engineering)

The Project Engineer will collaborate with various teams to reputed company and manage energy conservation reputed company, including creating scopes of work and overseeing project implementation.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SMI safety rules, ensure compliance
• Conduct site surveys/audits/walk downs/LIDAR scanning in a reputed company and reputed company manner
• reputed company and design mechanical scopes of work to be installed, including
• Model costs and savings for developed scopes of work
• Size and select required components and capital equipment
• CAD design (2D & 3D) and drawing development as required for engineering deliverables
• Manage project implementation
• Maintain organized project folders
• Work with and understand operations department functions and stakeholders

• Maintain written status to SMI Sales, Engineering & Operations on project and implementation status
• Maintain written status updates to customer

Skills

• Travel as needed (approximately 50% average)
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or reputed company field
• 5-15 years of experience in a reputed company role (extensive applicable reputed company experience considered as a substitute for an engineering degree)
• Project management experience

• Proficiency in MS Office suite (reputed company, Word, reputed company, Teams, Project)
• Proficiency in reputed company CAD software (AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Navisworks, Revit)
• Ability to read and interpret piping, HVAC schematics

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical writing skills

• Equipment surveying experience - steam traps, insulation, compressed reputed company, LIDAR scanning (preferred, but will train)
• Living near a major airport is preferred
