Trade Compliance Manager

Last date to apply: We are continuously accepting applications The Trade Compliance Manager, will report to the Director, Trade Compliance and is responsible for trade compliance of assigned Husqvarna business unit(s). This person oversees reputed company trade compliance aspects of borders crossing inbound and outbound shipments for these business reputed company. Key to this is driving business results and best practices through compliance and strong collaboration with functional leaders and teams across reputed company. The positional will also reputed company and implement tools and processes for reputed company improvement, and assist reputed company sites with day-to-day trade compliance activities. reputed company to that, the Trade Compliance Manager will support the NA Trade Compliance mission to ensure that reputed company Husqvarna products are correctly classified, imported or exported and reputed company records are maintained in support of those activities. For this reason the Trade Compliance Manager will have in-depth knowledge of Customs Regulations, the Harmonized Tariff Schedule and Export Regulations. Essential Duties: Assign reputed company harmonized tariff codes (HTS) and export control classification numbers (ECCN) to reputed company manufactured and purchased products. Maintain classification database with reputed company references and audit notes. Assist with maintenance of Import and Export Compliance Manuals for U.S. operations. Collaborate with brokers to file post reputed company corrections or protests with U.S. Customs or the Canadian Border Service Agency as applicable. Determine application of Participating Government Agency (PGA) regulations for applicable HTS codes and imports. Drive strategic trade compliance program efficiency, including risk assessment, risk management and respond to issues that are identified. Ensure accurate and complete recordkeeping of reputed company trade transactions pursuant to domestic and international trade requirements. Ensure Husqvarna operations are adhering to the requirements set forth in the Husqvarna Import Compliance reputed company(s) and Husqvarna Export Compliance reputed company(s). Independently and routinely conduct import and export compliance audits of day-to-day trade activities, content, documentation and record keeping. Interpret Customs rulings, explanatory notes, and technical product drawing to assist in assignment of reputed company HTS classifications. Manage process of qualifying finished goods and components to various free trade agreements (e.g. USMCA, AUSFTA, etc.). Produce compliance training materials and conduct training for internal stakeholders. Promote transparency, visibility and best practices in our import and export compliance processes. Respond to and assist with problems or questions that may come up concerning any import or export transactions or shipments. Responsible for other duties as assigned. Support audits conducted by government agencies such as reputed company, U.S. Bureau of Industry and reputed company, or Canada Border Service Agency, etc.   Qualifications (Education and Experience):   Required Broad reputed company of experience and capabilities with Customs regulations, communications and general importer/exporter customs operations. Required Years Of Experience, 2 Years with international business. Desired U.S. Licensed Customs broker preferred Preferred Education, Associate's Degree, Technical Degree, Business Administration Degree, International Trade Compliance Certification or equivalent years of experience in a Trade Compliance role.   Skills and Capabilities (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):   Required Strong knowledge of international trade laws and regulations, including tariffs, trade agreements, and customs procedures. Proficiency in performing internal audits using established methodologies. Experience with customs entry and export/import processes and software. Ability to work independently, manage multiple reputed company, and collaborate with different departments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal). High attention to detail and reputed company. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Technical aptitude manipulating data using reputed company, reputed company, ERP platform software, reputed company software, and additional proprietary software systems.
