[Remote] Business Development Manager (Defense) - Remote

They are seeking a Business Development Manager specialized in defense technology to identify and execute RFIs and RFQs while managing the sales lifecycle and building relationships with defense agencies.

Responsibilities

• Establish new business opportunities through reputed company customer acquisition, building relationships with key decision makers and by utilizing your existing network
• Ensure that reputed company is participating in reputed company applicable defense agency RFIs and RFQs
• Collaborate with technical program management, systems engineering and our Tier 1 partners to establish efficient key account teams
• Define and negotiate unit pricing, one time-cost and terms for development and supply agreements together with our reputed company and finance teams
• Serve as the primary reputed company and expand reputed company’s partnerships with defense agencies
• Maximize customer satisfaction by being the voice and representative of your customers reputed company reputed company
• Up to 25% travel, both domestically and internationally

Skills

• 7+ years of experience in defense sales and relationships with reputed company at various reputed company and government agencies
• Experience in the Defense industry required
• Automotive industry experience is a plus
