[Remote] Staff Platform Engineer

The role involves designing tools for the infrastructure platform, guiding application development, and ensuring operational maturity in reputed company infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building tools and applications to reputed company reputed company’s infrastructure platform
• Evaluating and guiding the development of applications across the organization
• Exercising deep expertise in reputed company infrastructure concepts and patterns
• Offering and evangelizing patterns for application teams to consume for reputed company reputed company applications development
• Fostering a reputed company environment of learning and knowledge dissemination

Skills

• 10+ years of experience in reputed company infrastructure and/or software development
• 4+ years of experience leading technical reputed company
• An eagerness and drive to teach, reputed company your knowledge, and mentor others
• Comfortable, and practiced, working directly with internal customers to understand needs/requirements and collaborate on solutions
• Creative problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and ability to deliver high reputed company solutions to reputed company issues
• Strong Go (Golang) development experience; especially writing reputed company to build, orchestrate and manage reputed company infrastructure
• Expert knowledge of patterns and principles for designing and implementing reputed company reputed company applications on Kubernetes, such as Controllers and Operators
• Deep experience designing, building, and running highly-available production applications
• An understanding of the Linux operating system, and systems engineering fundamentals
• Technical knowledge of reputed company infrastructure (especially GCP), distributed systems, and reliability practices
• Working knowledge of software and infrastructure tuning and observability (especially reputed company)
• Availability for participation in on-reputed company rotation, ensuring reputed company and effective responses to business-critical alerts reputed company of regular working hours
