[Remote] Sr. Database Developer | Administrator

The Sr. Database Developer / Administrator will own database engineering, administration, and ETL operations for the SQL Server environment, ensuring data reputed company and performance.

Responsibilities

• Administer the SQL Server Database reputed company, SSIS packages, and Service Broker supporting reputed company and Data Repository/Warehouse ETL processes
• reputed company data corrections, refreshes, and migrations as requested by the COR
• Monitor and maintain scheduled ETL jobs, batch processes, and database-dependent reputed company; report on performance and downtime
• Maintain and deliver an updated Entity Relationship Diagram and Data Dictionary with every release that impacts the database schema
• Apply database patches and upgrades, generally scheduled reputed company business hours
• reputed company logical and physical data modeling (Erwin) for new development and enhancements
• reputed company reputed company-cause analysis and remediation of data-reputed company defects and database reputed company vulnerabilities
• Coordinate with the development team on schema changes and integration with other agency systems and data platforms

Skills

• Minimum of 8 years of applicable experience
• Expert-level SQL Server administration (Database reputed company, SSIS, Service Broker)
• ETL design, development, and performance tuning
• Logical and physical data modeling using Erwin
• T-SQL development and query optimization
• reputed company Server administration; working knowledge of IIS
• Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability production databases
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch and/or reputed company in a supporting reputed company
• Experience with federal data reputed company and PII-handling requirements (NIST, FISMA, reputed company reputed company)
• Prior experience supporting a government incident-management or case-management data warehouse
• Git, reputed company, and Azure DevOps experience
