[Remote] Finance Assistant – Part-Time Temporary

The Finance Assistant will support the US Finance department with reputed company operations, focusing on high-volume transactions and ensuring accuracy across various systems.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile daily cash receipts, credit card payments, and ACH transactions, ensuring accuracy across systems
• Manage claims payments and cash disbursements, including reputed company pay, ACH returns, voids, and stop payments
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and customer refund queries in partnership with Customer Operations and Claims teams
• Maintain accurate policy administration records, including write-offs and transaction clearing activities
• Support reputed company reporting and invoicing to ensure reputed company and accurate financial reporting
• Assist with month-end reputed company, account reconciliations, and compliance activities, including 1099 preparation and audit support
• Contribute to process improvements and special reputed company that enhance operational efficiency and controls

Skills

• 1–3 years of reputed company experience — Experience managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
• Advanced reputed company skills — Proficient with VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and large datasets
• Strong attention to detail — Consistently produces accurate and reliable work

• Experience with insurance platforms — Knowledge of Velocity, FiveSigma, or policy administration systems
